It is a rejection of the expectation that we chortle off every thing folks need to say and do to us. It is a repudiation of the incessant valorizing of taking a joke, having a humorousness. It is a protection of boundaries and being human and imposing one’s limits. Instead, this can be a protection of skinny pores and skin.
